In 2018, James Wood saw the need for an affordable, reliable and customer focused trash pick-up service. Having worked in this industry for years he knew what he needed to do to get started. He jumped right in, and with his sons, Matthew & Sean started handing out fliers door to door and soon he had several customers. With a pickup, trailer and the help of his son Matthew, James went to work - taking care of his new customers in Campbell and Bedford Counties.

 

In November of last year, his wife Beth came on board and took on the role of business development to expand his service area and help bring aboard more customers, truly making this a family-owned business. 

 

Today, FRD has increased the number of trucks and has expanded its coverage area to include Amherst, Nelson county and Lynchburg city while maintaining Campbell and Bedford county service areas.
